How Auto Vault began

Auto Vault was established in 2026 by two individuals with significant backgrounds in placing premium vehicles with discerning owners across South Africa. Between them, they had spent years navigating the collector and performance vehicle market from the inside — not as enthusiasts observing from a distance, but as practitioners who understood what motivated a serious acquisition and what an owner expected after one.

What they observed, repeatedly, was a gap. Vehicles of genuine significance — classics being put away after a season, modern supercars acquired and not yet properly housed, performance cars whose owners were travelling — were being consigned to conditions that reflected none of their owners' care for them. Self-storage units. Inattentive garages. Arrangements that treated a collector's considered investment the same as a commercial fleet vehicle.

The private automotive concierge model was the answer. A service built around the car and the owner — not around the convenience of the provider.

Auto Vault operates from principles that are structural, not decorative. Discretion over display. Precision over volume. Relationships over transactions.

These are not values listed for the sake of having them. They are the reason the facility is not open to walk-ins. The facility operates from Brooklyn, one of Pretoria's established commercial and residential precincts — close enough to the city to be accessible, discreet enough to suit the nature of what takes place inside.

The address is provided on arrangement and is not published. Visits are by arrangement only. The facility does not receive unscheduled callers.
