Left in a domestic garage, a valuable car quietly declines. Damp settles on the brightwork, the battery dies and takes the electronics' memory with it, the tyres flat-spot where they stand, and using the car becomes an errand rather than a pleasure.
Custody is the alternative. The car sits in a secure, monitored indoor bay, run and checked monthly, and it is ready the day you ask for it.

You arrive by arrangement. We walk around the car with you, note its condition, and park it in its indoor bay.

Custody
The car sits in a secure indoor bay, out of the hail. The engine is run monthly and the charge checked. Keys stay in the safe, and only our staff move the car.

Collection
Weekdays 08:30–16:00, or out of hours and weekends by arrangement. Tell us when and the car is washed, warmed, and ready at the door. Delivery across Pretoria and Johannesburg by arrangement.

Questions
How secure is my car while it is with you?
It sits in a secure, access-controlled indoor facility with monitoring around the clock. Access is controlled and every vehicle is accounted for by name. Keys are held in a safe on the premises, and cars are moved only by Auto Vault staff.
How quickly can I get my car back?
Cars are available on weekdays from 08:30 to 16:00. Out of hours and weekends are by arrangement — tell us when, and it will be washed, warmed, and ready. It is a seamless process either way.
What happens to the battery and tyres?
Every month the engine is run and the charge checked. A trickle charger can be fitted on any tier, at the owner's cost. The car is repositioned to avoid flat-spotting.
Who has access to my car and keys?
Only Auto Vault staff. Keys are held in a safe on the premises, and nobody outside the team moves a car.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Month-to-month, 30 days' notice, no exit fees. Longer terms are available if you want them, not required.
Can I visit my car?
Yes, by arrangement. The facility is not open to walk-ins, which is part of why your car is safe there.
